Job Req Number: 80227 Time Type: Full Time Role As the Key Account Manager at DSV, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the Warehousing & Solutions business segment. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality warehousing and logistics solutions, and driving profitability. The KAM will work closely with internal teams to meet client needs while identifying opportunities for service expansion and innovation. Responsibilities
- Manages the allocated accounts throughout the tenure of the relationship and promotes the partnership between key customers and DSV.
- Grows and expands the business with key accounts through cross-selling, volume growth, and regional expansion.
- Regularly meets with assigned Key Accounts to understand business challenges and offer solutions, and provide them with regular updates on service performance and improvement initiatives.
- Acts as a business partner, advising Key clients on logistics and warehousing best practices, ensuring that DSV remains a strategic partner in their supply chain management.
- Works closely with Operations Departments and regional DSV offices and harmonizes the services and agreements offered to Key accounts.
- Analyzes problems or issues withholding growth, finds solutions, and takes specific measures to overcome them.
- Resolves all operational and financial issues pertaining to assigned accounts.
- Controls operational costs and financial exposure of assigned key accounts while at the same time meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Leads contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring both commercial viability and alignment with client expectations, managing renewals and amendments to contracts as required.
- Reports to sales management on key accounts issues, revenue growth plans, action plans to resolve outstanding issues, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Sales, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in Key Account management, Sales, Business Development within the logistics or warehousing industry.
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations, including inventory management, distribution, and fulfillment processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
