We're on the hunt for a seasoned ecommerce SEO expert to fill a Senior SEO Manager role. This leadership opportunity is tailor-made for an exceptional individual.Who's our ideal candidate?Someone who naturally leads and initiates change, excels in strategic thinking, and adept at addressing large-scale problems.A true SEO enthusiast, capable of crafting and leading both technical and content-based SEO strategies tailored to our clients' needs.An individual with agency background, prepared to embrace greater responsibilities, leading with innovative ideas to influence the agency's direction.A proficient communicator, able to demystify technical SEO for those less familiar, including clients and colleagues.Well-versed in the ecommerce sector, equipped with both the technical skills and interpersonal abilities to aid esteemed consumer brands in achieving their SEO ambitions.Committed to team success, with a proven ability to mentor and promote the growth of junior team members.This is a full-time role requiring flexibility in hours, with the expectation to overlap with standard Eastern Time business hours.Competitive annual salary based on experience100% remoteWork with trusted ecommerce brandsCore responsibilitiesImplement technical and content SEO strategies and manage communications for direct-to-consumer brands.Manage the Initial Discovery Package for clients, utilizing outcomes to guide ongoing SEO consulting strategies.Create and refine Company SOPs for current operations, aiming for maximum efficiency.Mentor the SEO team, oversee their output, and compile analyses and findings in actional reports.Set a professional standard by staying at the forefront of SEO innovations, trends, and practices.Collaborate closely with clients to guarantee seamless project execution.Shape the future of the team by fostering the growth of junior SEO staff, enhancing account managers' SEO comprehension, and influencing recruitment choices.Skills you need to succeedDemonstrated success in developing and advising on SEO strategies for multi-million dollar direct-to-consumer brands.In-depth knowledge of ecommerce performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition.Proficient in Google Analytics, capable of presenting monthly and quarterly reports clearly.Expertise in search engine ranking factors and algorithms.Proven leadership skills.Applicants should be experienced and adept at communicating directly with clients.What makes you stand outExperience in agency settings, particularly in ecommerce.Proficient with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, or BigCommerce platforms.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Proven success in managing a remote team.
