Senior Node.js Developer

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop high-quality Node.js applications
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions
3. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs
5. Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the company
7. Work collaboratively with project managers to successfully deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development
3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and related frameworks such as Express
4. Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
5. Familiarity with modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies
6. Proven experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
7. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
10. Prior experience in working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
11. Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools is a plus
12. Understanding of version control systems, such as Git or SVN is a plus
