The RoleThe purpose of this role is to develop and deliver Ground Operations Learning and Development interventions for all areas of the company as determined by the Ground Operations Training Manager. To act as a role model for ground operations excellence in terms of actions, behaviour and appearance.Accountabilities:• Deliver training ensuring that staff are:• Motivated and encouraged to exceed expectations by the training delivered• Fully skilled on the use of all systems and equipment• Fully aware of compliance policies and procedures for Air Arabia, Sharjah Aviation Services, Customer Airlines and the regulators procedures.• Properly briefed on all changes to product and procedures.• Coach staff at the place of work.• Deliver adhoc training sessions on the shift rota and at the place of work as determined by the Ground Operations Training Manager.• Explain procedures so as to ensure that the relevant, Health & Safety and company policy requirements placed upon all operations are fully complied with.• Working with the Ground Operations Training Manager continually monitor, and assess training materials ensuring that all changes in policy, operational requirements and legislation are incorporated in the training to ensure compliance at all times.• Ensure that all training is conducted to the highest levels ensuring security, safety, and service standards are provided by all departments.• Provide accurate, comprehensive reporting as required.• Communicate with the relevant line managers to ensure maximum staff attendance for training at all times• Monitor and take action as required to ensure all staff while on duty, perform their duties strictly in accordance with company policy, procedure and perform as they have been trained.• Ensure company uniform PSE and grooming standard are being adhered to at all times.• Take actions to ensure that all equipment and facili Two years' experience in a the aviation ground services industryExpert knowledge in at least one of the following aviation sectors: cargo, ramp, dispatch, DGR, load control, etcIATA or other relevant aviation qualificationsExperience of training in an aviation / ground operations environmentExcellent presentation skillsExcellent motivational skills and the ability to improve all staff performance to increase productivity.Excellent organisational skills.Strong written and verbal skills in English plus one additional language.
