Project & Maintenance Engineer - Abu DhabiThe CompanyAtmos International is a highly successful worldwide engineering technology and service supplier to the blue-chip companies in the oil, gas, aviation, water and chemical industries. Our innovative technology includes pipeline leak and theft detection, hydraulic simulation, pig tracking, batch tracking, optimization and gas management systems.The RoleReporting to a Project Manager, the Project and Maintenance Engineer has the following responsibilities:Preparation of quality plans to identify the nature and frequency of maintenance/project/design reviews, customer reviews, control points and inspectionsControl and co-ordination of projects and maintenance of the projects quality recordsControl of all obsolete and non-conforming documentationCarrying out and documenting project design reviewsDeveloping and adapting the company pipeline software to the customer's gas and liquid pipelinesPreparation of progress reports and attending project meetingsCarrying out and reporting feasibility studies for individual pipelinesPerforming Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance TestsInstalling, tuning and commissioning the company's software at customer sites in different countriesProviding training to customer's personnelPreparing system operating and maintenance manualsConducting on-site service visitsApplying corrections to projects following non-conformances from quality auditsPerforming maintenance of the company's installed software according to the product's warranty and project's maintenance contract (if one exists)Minimum RequirementsBachelor or higher degree in engineering or physicsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsGood oral and written communication skillsKeen to work with both physical hardware (in the office and on-site) and software applicationsExperience of pipeline/process simulation, hydraulic analysis, pipeline engineering or instrumentation/control systems would be an advantage but not requiredGood knowledge of computer networking using DCOM or OPC would be an advantageIf you are a highly motivated engineer with an interest in pipeline or process simulation and application, then this could be the role for you. All training will be provided.
