We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Director of Events Operations with our client, a luxury hotel in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the events/banqueting team and overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement event strategies that align with the hotel's goals and objectives, focusing on guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

Oversee the coordination and execution of all events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, and banquets.

Manage and train the events team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Collaborate with various departments, including sales, catering, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution.

Monitor event budgets, forecasts, and reports, optimising resources to achieve financial objectives.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues or concerns proactively to ensure exceptional service.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and practices, integrating innovative ideas into event operations to enhance guest experiences.

RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in event operations or management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

A proven track record in managing large-scale events, from planning to execution.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop diverse teams.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
