Procurement Coordinator - Al-Obaid Plastic Manufacturer

Job Summary:Responsible for managing the procurement and importation of products from China, ensuring their timely arrival and required quality. This includes negotiating with suppliers, managing documentation and shipping, and ensuring compliance with customs laws and regulations.Responsibilities:Supplier Research:Conduct market research to find the best suppliers and product prices.Evaluate suppliers based on quality, prices, payment terms, and delivery capability.Negotiation:Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and favorable terms.Negotiate contract terms including delivery schedules and payment terms.Order Management:Place orders and track the status of production and shipping to ensure timely delivery.Handle any issues or delays with suppliers.Documentation Management:Ensure compliance with customs documentation and international shipping requirements.Prepare and submit necessary documents to customs and logistics agents.Quality Control:Ensure that imported products meet the required quality standards.Coordinate with inspection teams to verify the quality of shipments before dispatch.Logistics Coordination:Arrange and follow up on shipments from China to the company's warehouses.Collaborate with shipping companies and customs brokers to resolve any customs issues.Report Preparation:Prepare periodic reports on procurement status, costs, and delivery.Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.Previous knowledge and experience in communicating with suppliers in China. : : () : Have you ever worked on the SABER platform before YES or NoHave you ever worked on the FASAH platform before YES or No: ():Procurement Coordinator: 5 (): () ()/:CIPS ()This job has been sourced from an external job board.More jobs on https://www.qureos.com/
