Head of Strategy crypto industry experience required

Hiring for a large cryptocurrency company in Abu Dhabi. We are looking for a Head of Strategy with deep expertise in the cryptocurrency sector to lead our strategic planning and business development efforts. The role requires an individual with exceptional analytical skills, a forward-thinking approach, and a robust understanding of the blockchain ecosystem. The successful candidate will shape the strategic direction of the company, identify growth opportunities, and maintain competitive advantage in the marketplace. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine the company’s strategic plan ensuring alignment with the long-term vision and goals.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities within the cryptocurrency industry.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop growth strategies, optimize operational efficiency, and drive business performance.
- Oversee strategic projects and initiatives from conception through execution, managing cross-functional teams to deliver on objectives.
- Facilitate strategic decision-making processes, providing insights and recommendations based on rigorous analysis and financial modeling.
- Establish metrics to assess and report on the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and the company’s overall strategic performance.
- Foster relationships with key industry players including potential partners, customers, and investors to advance business objectives.
- Continuously monitor the regulatory and technological landscape of the cryptocurrency industry to anticipate changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Serve as a champion of innovation within the company, encouraging a culture that embraces change and seeks continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a strategic role within the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech sectors.
- Strong understanding of the global cryptocurrency market ecosystem and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that have driven growth and profitability.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Superior communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly competitive environment.
- Experience working in a top-tier consulting firm with exposure to the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
- Established network within the cryptocurrency sector and a track record of successful business development.
- Familiarity with emerging trends in digital assets, decentralized finance (DeFi), and the broader financial technology landscape.
