QualificationsQualified American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) OR Personnel Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (PCN NDT).Trade Apprenticeship.Experience5 years relevant experience including at least 3 years in shipbuilding/Oil & Gas/Offshore.Quality control/NDT Inspection experience both in process and post production.Job Specific CompetenciesHands-on experience in non-destructive equipment procedures in accordance with the requirement of classification societies, international codes/standards, and other relevant documents.Capable of interpreting various international codes and class rules.Knowledge of NDE/NDT Techniques and standards.Knowledge of optical alignment instruments like Total station (3D) and Auto Level (2D) (Make: Sokkia).Knowledge of best fit software for analysis of DC.Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel).Taurus Contractors (www.tauruscontractors.com) offers a broad range of recruitment and staffing services, which include expatriate and local specialists, engineers, and technical personnel on contract and permanent hire.
