Job Title: Accounting ManagerGroup: FinanceSummary:The role holder is responsible for monitoring and executing financial transactions related Fixed Assets, accruals uploading, month-end journals processing and WIP monitoring and closing with proper adherence to the policies and guidance set. All Operations transactions must be reviewed and processed efficiently and accurately with checks and controls in place. In addition, SAB's policies, procedures and internal control environment must be followed and adhered to all the times.Core Responsibilities:Prepare and Provide Quarterly Fixed Assets Note for disclosure purposes. IFRS 16 review and monthly updates with all required information and related details ensuring accuracy of the submissions.Perform the IFRS 16 task and all associated activities and ensure proper review of the output and posting process.Proper reconciliation and matching of the GL balances in HUB against IFRS16 tools number and take the necessary action to solve any mismatch.Reviews and approve accruals and reclassifications entries, ensuring validity of the entries and legibility of the transactions to be processed.Reconciles assets/leases GLs and sings off GLARProvide fixed assets register to businesses for their related assets details to ensure proper records and reconciliation with the assets owners and report any defaults in the process. review all WIP completion dates and communicate with the respective businesses to provide the required business case and feedback. Prepare and Report all WIP details for monitoring and tacking and engage with business as needed to tackle any issues.Active participation for all projects assigned to the area to drive efficiency and streamlining. Driving controls measures to enhance the overall environment and mitigate operational risks Undertake tasks/assignment directed by the line manager and ensure accurate delivery in a timely manner. Knowledge & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting.Fluent English and Arabic skills (written and spoken) required.A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a similar role.Prior experience in Financial Operations in the Banking Sector is preferred.
