QA / QC ENGINEER

Produce the Project Quality Plan in line with ADGAS specifications.Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy.Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings, etc with the Project Team and toensure that the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made per theContract Plan and Contract SpecificationsLiaise with the Client's representatives for the conduct of day-to-day quality related project activities.Coordinate with the HISP regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any areawhere discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficienciesProvide technical support to the Head of Integrated Schemes and guidance to site staff in submission ofmaterials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As-built drawings, O & M manual.Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the ContractSpecifications or normal construction industry practicesCoordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the projectAttend Monthly Project Review Meetings (PRM) and alert the project team of any potential problems.Produce high level quality control sheets with adequate hold points (Inspection Test Plans)Issue and Maintain QC CAR sheetsPlans, coordinates and monitors project assurance activities.Carries out regular structural project health checks and issues periodical reports.Provides project control functions in accordance with ADGAS standards.Pro-active monitoring of projects milestones progress; makes necessary analysis to problem areas andrecommends corrective action.Develop project master schedules and perform schedule critical path and risk assessmentAssist HISP in monitoring and action updating of Projects Risks RegistersPrepare project budgets and liaises with cost group and finance and develop necessary WBSReview and monitors EPC contractors quality management plans & its implementationPerforms the role and bears responsibility assigned to the position according to HSEMS manual.Manage and coordinate planning activities Skill set Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent MS Office - Word & Excel &Outlook) Primavera MS Access8 years relevant experience in qualityassurance & quality control aspects for projects
