Full time Data Scientist - Riyadh - Financial Services (Investments)
We are looking for a full time Data Scientist to join our clients team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Python data science technology stack, Financial Services - preferably within the asset management/investment space, and Statistics. Successful candidates will also have experience working with large datasets and developing predictive models.
The primary responsibility of the Data Scientist will be to develop and implement data-driven solutions to business problems. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, gathering and cleaning data, developing models, and communicating results.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and self-directed individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills. They will also have a strong desire to learn and grow in their career.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement data-driven solutions to business problems
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs
Gather and clean financial data
Develop financial models
Communicate results to stakeholders
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science)
3-10 years of experience in data science
Strong programming skills in Python, R
Strong grasp of the wider data science toolkits
Experience with financial services data (financial analysis, modelling)
Knowledge of statistics and machine learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
