A multi national Oil and Gas company with offices across the globe is seeking an Office Manager for the Qatar regional office in Doha. Working for a lovely, British gentleman, this role supports his office in managing the administration for the Qatari business of the organisation. There are twelve people in the office, several of whom travel on a regular basis and this position will take care of the needs of the team. The incumbent will sit on reception but will manage the office in its entirety. This will involve some PA support to the General Manager as well as negotiating with suppliers, sorting out any initial IT problems and escalating if necessary and liaising with the regional head office in Dubai. As this is a relatively small office you will take on significant responsibility and it will give the right person the opportunity to work in a really autonomous position. This role will suit a professional business support individual who is on her husbands' visa in Qatar although this is not mandatory. Hours are 8-5 but there is lots of flexibility with this role and would suit a mature lady or a working mum. Our client is looking for a Western educated individual for this position.
