Job description:Role Purpose Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Job Accountabilities & Activities To set up and execute the job on machine as per requirement.Study the requirement by looking into drawing and relevant procedures.Establish a method to maximize efficiency.Make new CNC program independently.Set the Suitable cutting parameter to achieve the quality and productivity.Verifies settings by measuring positions.Perform simulation after complete the manual program.Execute the job on machine and complete it on time.Inspect the components to ensure compliance.Confirm completion by signing the work order routing.Maintain Housekeeping on working areas all times.Coordinate with supervisor for job priorities.Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions.Help Juniors technically and safely.Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. Education & Certifications Good knowledge of making Manual CNC programs.Good knowledge of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, symbols.Good knowledge of CNC Turning, VTL or HBM, Vertical Milling machines.Good knowledge of Turning or Milling cutting tools such as Facing head, ITS tools, Gun drill, Tip drill, Angular head, dovetail grooving tools and different types of Inserts.Basic knowledge of measuring equipment, such as OD, ID Micrometer, Vernier, RG PD gauges and Bore dial.Good knowledge of Premium and API Threads.Basic Understanding of the English language (Written and oral.)Basic Understanding of engineering principles, such as speed, feeds, different metal characteristics, drilling, turning, threading process.Basic knowledge of all kinds of machines and their capabilities. (Turn mill, Grinding, Wire cut)Be able to work on his own initiative and with minimal supervision.Good knowledge of Oil and Gas products. Required Years of Experience 7 to 10 years of experience in the setting and operation of CNC machines.
