Coordinates withthe Lead Structural Engineer on job phases activities and scheduleswith the assignment of eachjob.Works closelywith the project managers and engineering/design department usingAutodesk AutoCAD and Inventor 2D files 3D files and rough sketchesto create structural details and layout drawings per engineerinstructions andconcepts.Work closelywith the Structural Engineer to produce structural steel drawingsthat include (but not limited to): steel layouts connection detailsindustrial walkways stairs and ladders large equipment supportslarge industrial duct supports various framing and column supportconnections and foundationdrawings.Work closelywith Project Managers and the engineering team to execute theclient s needs and expectations in a timely manner and onbudget.Help create andmaintain new structural CAD standards as we move forward in thegrowth of our new structuraldepartment.Performs anyother duties as may be required from time to time by the ProjectOperations Manager or Lead StructuralEngineer.RequirementsAssociate degreeor technical degree in CAD Technology Engineering or EngineeringTechnology 5to 10 years working in the structural designfield. 5to 10 years experience as Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD using 2Dand 3D isrequired.Structuralaptituderequired.Experience withMicrosoft Office specifically Word andExcel.Specificexperience in drafting/design layout for large industrial equipmentand processes is aplus.Candidates musthave the ability to take direction well and communicate effectivelyto accomplishtasks.5 to 10 years working in the structural design field. 5 to 10 yearsexperience as Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD using 2D and 3D isrequired. Structural aptitude required. Experience with MicrosoftOffice, specifically Word and Excel. Specific experience indrafting/design layout for large industrial equipment and processesis a plus. Candidates must have the ability to take direction welland communicate effectively to accomplish tasks. INT
