The ideal candidate will have ademonstrated track record of leading a responsive, agile, andhighly effective organization and the capacity to ensure thefundamental services and operations of the City of Chattanooga;advancing the Mayor s commitment to a high-performing government.They will be a central part of the City s efforts to maintainconfidence and faith in the day-to-day functions of city governmentand will be expected to build trust and engagement internally byleading with integrity and a people-first approach to thejob.TheAdministrator is responsible for providing strategic direction toand coordinating the tactical operations and compliance of theDepartment. The Administrator will exemplify superior managementand leadership skills and abilities, importantly includingextensive experience in collaborative problem solving andcontinuousimprovement.TheAdministrator will also understand and be committed to advancingthe Mayor s goals and values of One Chattanooga, and in providingexcellent public service to the community.
