REQUIRED MINIMUMEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree inBusiness Administration, Supply Chain Management, OperationsManagement or a closely related field or equivalent combination ofeducation and related experience.8 yearsprofessional experience with demonstrated progressive levels ofmanagement experience (with at least 4 - 5 years in operationalmanagement experience)Experience in warehouseand transportation preferred.Must be willingto relocate to advance into a Vice President of OperationspositionABILITIES ANDSKILLS:Ability to read, comprehend, writeand speak English.Ability to read, analyze andinterpret general business periodicals, professional journals,technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to writereports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability toeffectively present information and respond to questions fromgroups of managers, clients, customers, and the generalpublic.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, anddivide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions, and decimals.Ability to solvepractical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insituations where only limited standardization exists. Ability tointerpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,diagram, or schedule form.Demonstratedknowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, andability to learn Sysco technology software and programs. Must haveexcellent computer skills.Working knowledge ofFederal Motor Carrier SafetyRegulations.Working knowledge of environmentalregulations/legislation and governingbodies.Ability to successfully engage and leadindividual and team discussions andmeetings.Ability to apply all relevantpolicies in a consistent, timely and objectivemanner.Capable of working with peers andassociates from other departments, sites, Corporate and thebusiness community in a proactive and constructivemanner.Ability to work in a disciplined mannerand capable of following established procedures, practices andcomply with local, state and federalregulations.Ability to manage the pressuresand stress associated with a deadline-oriented atmosphere andcustomer service issues. Demonstrates skill in making independentdecisions in support of company policies and procedures in a timelymanner.Reports to work promptly and regularly;works well with others; demonstrates the ability to consistentlymeet deadlines.To be successful in thisposition, the individual performing the duties must successfullydemonstrate all Director level Leadership Frameworkcompetencies.PHYSICALDEMANDSThe physical demands described hereare representative of those that must be met by an associate tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of thisjob.While performing the duties of this job,the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associateis frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger,handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.The associate is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, orcrawl. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includeclose vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,depth perception and ability to adjust focus.WORKENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristicsdescribed here are representative of those an associate encounterswhile performing the essential functions of thejob.While performing the duties of this job,the associate is occasionally exposed to wet, hot, extreme coldand/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts and may berequired to work in confined spaces. The associate worksnon-traditional business hours including evenings, nights,weekends, holidays and on-call. The associate may occasionally berequired to travel to other Operating Companies or the Corporateoffice as business needs dictate (i.e. training, businesscontinuation, etc.). The associate is occasionally exposed to high,precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumesor airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment isusually moderate. INT
