Title:PharmacistJobSummaryCoordinates and providesthe pharmaceutical care of patients. Manages drugtherapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.Reviews, interprets and evaluatesmedication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential oractual drug related problems. Providesdrug information and education to medical staff, healthcareprofessionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.Documents interventions and their outcomesfor use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.Evaluates medication orders for accuracyand completeness prior to order entry. Checks for accuracy afterfilling by technicians. Maintains adequateknowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computersoftware.JobRequirementsMinimumEducationGraduate of aProgram in Discipline, Graduate of Pharmacy Schools with Pharm.DpreferredRequiredSkillsRequirescritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to workwith minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressfulenvironment and take appropriateaction.RequiredSkillsCertifications: AHA BLS (Basic LifeSupport),preferredLicenses:State of Tennessee PharmacistlicenseRemote Work : No INT
