Review the contract in terms ofscope of work, obligations to the client, schedules, possible areasof concerns, action plans, prepare the agenda for the kick offmeeting with the client and collect relevant information fromvarious disciplines.Finalize the list ofdeliverables as per the contract after discussing them with varioussites which is then submitted to the client for their review andapproval.Active Co-ordinate with theEngineering discipline who will prepare and issue deliverables suchas material requisition, technical bid evaluation and purchaserequisition as required for procurement activities as well asDeliverables like Drawings, Procedures, calculations etc. These arethen reviewed and monitoredon a weekly basisand in case of slippages corrective action istaken.Interface with procurement to review thestatus of procurement activities and take corrective action asneeded.Organise weekly review meetings withthe client to discuss progress achieved to date as well as aforecast for the following week in addition to any other issueswhich need to be resolved.Interface with otherCompany if required as per Contract wherein the project engineerensures any coordinationrequired with otherorganizations which is achieved by transferring engineeringdocuments,sorting out queries etc. between the other Company AndPetrofac In concurrence with theClient.Arrange and moderate post award kickoff meeting with vendor, expedite, monitor and review vendordeliverables in line with contractual requirements, executionschedule, Purchase Order requirements and terms &conditions, ensure suborders of materials are in line withsupplier's engineeringandmanufacturing schedule, and monitorrespective deliveries. Resolve any potential operational issuesthat may impact the deliveries, Monitor the recovery of delays andimplementation of remedial actions.IdentifyRisks and liaise with stakeholders to mitigate delays and costimpacts.Maintain records and update orderprogress periodicallyEffectually nurture andmaintain professional and healthy relationship with suppliers,participate in, contribute to and monitor objective supplierperformance appraisal.Interface with thesuppliers to resolve technical issues and in case of any deviationsunderstand the reasons thereof and decide the feasibility ofcontinuing with the existingarrangement.
