About the Planning Manager Position

Planning Manager Responsibilities Are:

Project Planning and SchedulingDeveloping, maintaining and reviewing project schedules in collaboration with project management and stakeholders,Implementing project controls methodologies to ensure accurate and achievable project timelines,Developing a deliverable-based progress measurement model and coordinate with stakeholders,Performance Monitoring & Risk ManagementImplementing systems to track and monitor project performance against established baselines,Analyzing project metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement,Reviewing, checking and evaluating schedule of works,Engaging with stakeholders to develop delivery, recovery, and mitigation plans,Monitoring the work progress, compare of work and report to the Project Manager,Utilizing Earned Value Management techniques to evaluate schedule and cost performance metrics,Identifying potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project timelines or budgets,Developing risk mitigation strategies and collaborate with project teams to implement them,Reporting and DocumentationPreparing and distributing regular project control reports to communicate project status, progress, and forecasted outcomes,Maintaining accurate and organized project documentation,Developing and maintaining detailed deliverable lists in coordination with Project Manager,Assessing and analyzing the impact of changes to project scope, schedule, or budget,Collaborating with project management to implement change orders as needed,Maintaining weekly updates of Earned Value Analysis dashboard,Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports covering the status of projects,Cost Estimation and BudgetingDeveloping detailed schedules with resource/cost,Monitoring and controlling project expenditures to ensure adherence to budget constraints,Collaborating with project teams to estimating project costs and develop budgets,Resource AllocationEnsuring resource availability aligns with project requirements,Working with project management to allocate resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials,

Planning Manager Requirements Are:

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction or related field,Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred,Minimum 15 years of experience in Planning/Scheduling roles in construction industry,Minimum 10 years of experience in Planning/Scheduling with Primavera Project Management P6,Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial role,Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting,Proven experience in utilization of Earned Value Management in performance analysis and reporting,Excellent skills in utilizing MS Office applications, especially Excel,Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity,Proven ability to perform in a managerial capacity and subject matter expertise,Fluent in English both written and spoken and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders,
