Responsibilities:- Think like someone who is using the product.Plan and scope product documentation requirements.Organize material to create outlines and drafts.Gather information from product tracking tools.Work with product managers to understand what the user needs to know about the product.Gather information from subject matter experts and online sources.Provide time estimates. Give status updates. Meet deadlines.Write edit, and update topics in XML.Break content into smaller, individual chunks that can be re-used.Create capture, and edit images according to team guidelines.Document and test the steps required to use the software.Follow style guides and organizational standards.Manage review workflows using an online review platform.Write new content and maintain existing content.Provide peer reviews from XML source files for documents and online help.Assist with reviewing, publishing, and posting content.Contribute to team knowledge and assist other writers.Work collaboratively in a small team environment.Communicate challenges, and concerns, and suggest process improvements to your managerPerform special projects and duties as required.Oversee localization projects for technical documentation.Learn software products to become an expert user.Work remotely from 12:30 - 9:30 PM ISTSkillsProduce engaging technical documentation that speaks to the user.Write clearly and concisely while explaining technical concepts using simple terms.Communicate effectively with managers, developers, and other writers.Create documentation that is accurate, complete, compliant, and error-free.Provide relevant guidance to users within a specific context.
