SAP Finance Solution Consultant

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SAP Finance Solution Consultant for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services. Please note: This position requires the candidate’s physical presence in the UAE. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available at this time. The selected candidate should be able to relocate and start within one month from offer acceptance. Job Summary: Our partner is undergoing a critical technical transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, aiming to enhance its financial operations and business processes. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to take on the role of Senior Product Manager. This position will be responsible for senior consulting and managing the SAP Finance module implementation, providing strategic guidance throughout the migration, and ensuring smooth integration of financial processes and operations in the new SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, as well as extensive expertise in technical transformations and business change management in an enterprise environment. Responsibilities: SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation: Lead the transformation of the client’s finance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless transition of financial data, reporting, and analytics. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing SAP ECC Finance landscape and requirements for S/4HANA transformation. Design and implement a comprehensive migration strategy for SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configurations, enhancements, and process optimization. Product Management: Serve as the Senior Product Manager for SAP Finance, acting as the SME and owner of financial products within SAP ecosystem. Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and objectives post-S/4HANA implementation. Align SAP Finance strategy with business goals and provide guidance to meet business needs. Have strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, including AP, AR, GL, tax, financial reporting, asset accounting, and profitability analysis. Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business users, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and configurations. Manage the end-to-end process for requirements gathering, balancing stakeholder needs with technical constraints. Solution Design and Configuration: Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including FI, CO, Asset Accounting, and Profitability Analysis. Conduct workshops to validate business requirements and ensure compliance and operational needs are met. Provide expertise on integration points with SAP MM, SD, and PS modules. Testing and Validation: Oversee testing phases, including unit, integration, and UAT, ensuring solutions meet requirements. Develop test scripts and coordinate validation activities. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Train key users and stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities. Ensure effective knowledge transfer post-implementation. Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvements. Lead initiatives to streamline processes and enhance system integration. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with standards and regulations, including IFRS. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Mentor and lead a team of consultants, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams for cohesive system operation. Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks. Professional Experience: 8-10 years in SAP Finance (FI) and CO modules, with 3-5 years in SAP S/4HANA implementations. Experience leading ECC to S/4HANA migrations and managing complex finance systems. Proven track record as a Senior Consultant or Product Manager in large organizations. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, or related fields. SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is highly mandatory. Project Management: PMP certification preferred. Experience with Agile methodologies and managing large-scale projects. Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules, including new functionalities. Hands-on experience with SAP configuration and integration. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud is desirable. Familiarity with SAP data migration techniques. Preferred Experience: Experience in the aviation or travel industry.
