Ooredoo has embarked on a strategic journey that aims to carve out assets from the OpCos and develop stand-alone, independent, specialized entities to run those assets commercially.The objective is for these independent entities to crystalise value that is currently hidden in the balance sheet of the OpCos and at the same time professionalize the operations of those assets. In many cases, this will be achieved through two steps:creation of separate entitiesidentification of partners that will acquire a stake in these companies, to help with expertise and know-howToday Ooredoo is already undertaking these efforts in the areas of towers, data centers, fintech. Over time, these efforts will continue with other Group assets.The role holder is responsible for achieving the OG objectives in the strategic areas identified for Adjacencies, through professional, dedicated efforts that will program manage the daily activities necessary to establish these new entities and prepare them to operate by themselves and in conjunction with a partner.The role holder will have to negotiate, influence and convince CEOs to make sure he/she achieves these objectives.AccountabilitiesThe role holder is responsible to monitor, drive, align, rework, redesign, negotiate, execute all project activities relating to:Legal executionRegulatory lobbyingGo-to-marketTransfer plan and organizationSetting up IT operationsFacility optimization and expansionOperating modelTax structures and executionExperience and QualificationsMinimum 8-10 years of Big-4 experience, specifically in the areas of transformation, restructuring, carve outs, etc.Experience in driving end-to-end transformation programs, with responsibility for multiple streams and peopleExperience in Telco industry projects and or industry is preferable but not essentialGood understanding of the link between valuation drivers for the Adjacencies & Projects and the operational questions at handCreating buy-in with stakeholders on the working level and influencing capability to the level upSolid understanding of what needs to be done to build a new entityAbility to establish solid relations across Vendors, Operators, 3rd party etc.Ideally Master's Degree, at minimum Bachelor Degree from a reputable UniversityMust have worked in developing markets, ideally in a multinational environment8-10 years big-4 background
