Job Description:

The Process Engineer, reporting to Process Lead will be an integral part of PDE Project Team, working collaboratively within the PDE organization, systems, procedures, and methods. The Commissioning Process Engineer is responsible for monitoring the quality of discipline related documentation on design solutions. The Commissioning Process Engineer shall give support based on existing documentation and plans for commissioning and start-up. Commissioning Process Engineer shall actively update the completion system (PIMS) with the necessary data to execute system and sub-system definition, quality ensure P&ID with system boundary mark-up, and information available to execute commissioning according to the commissioning procedures. Accountabilities:

Be a major contributor in commissioning process team
Participate in ongoing activities for the discipline within the framework and in conformance with contract, and relevant regulations.
The health and safety of personnel, natural and working environment and equipment shall have the utmost attention.
Ensure good cooperation, communication and alignment within the organization and with the project.
Work with PDE Operations Team as well as Client to ensure clarifications are provided with regards to scope of work.
Work with DDW organization, Altera Construction Team and Client to ensure compliance and verification activities required.
Redmark and comment on documents to align with the installation
Comments on drawings issued for IFC revision
Prepare instrument commissioning procedures and comment on multi discipline section in all procedures
Participate in work pack review as well as work packs
Participate in design reviews, HAZID's, HAZOP's and any other related safety studies.
Report to Process Lead any delays
Participate in meetings, inspections and discipline tri-party walks
Collaborate closely with other key disciplines in the Engineering Team.
Call off assistance from discipline resources.
Other duties as required by the Commissioning Process Lead

Requirements:

Technical education.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within Process discipline and experience of at least two recent projects as Process Engineer.
Recent experience with process topsides
Recent experience of working on modification projects and / or FPSO redeployment is strongly desired.
Recent experience of working in Asian/Middle East Yards
Strong leadership & interpersonal skills applied to a multidisciplined project team.
Documented experience with CMS, preferably PIMS
Familiar with electronic check sheets and working against procedures
Organized, Systematic & Flexible
English fluently verbal and writing
Experienced procedure writing
