Job Description
Base Engineer
The Base Engineer is responsible for completing tasks as set by the Technical Manager in association with several administrative tasks.

Job responsibilities:
- Liaise daily, with Technical Manager regarding ongoing operational requirements.
- Supervise in-house calibration of equipment.
- Assist with project mobilization preparations.
- Deployment and maintenance of permanent positioning and oceanographic system installations
- Perform preventative maintenance as required.
- Oversee all equipment testing and repairs.
- Responsible for workshop housekeeping
- Responsible for the upkeep of the Base Station
- In conjunction with Engineering Manager design and implement planned maintenance program for all equipment
- Maintain Equipment Failure Service Report archive.
- Maintain Equipment Calibration Tracking report.
- Maintain monthly Equipment Repair report.
- Actively participate in adherence to and improvement of the company Management System on Quality and HSE related issues
You bring (qualifications & experience)
- Bachelor's degree - Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
