About the position:

Swiss International School in Qatar is seeking a competent and forward-thinking Secondary German Teacher to start with the school 01 August 2024. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of the team of educators that is further developing the secondary language programs at SISQ.

About you:

- Experience teaching German Language in Secondary

- Student focused and a passion for working with secondary school aged students;

- A collaborative working style

- A commitment to continuous improvement

- A commitment to student learning, wellbeing and safeguarding

The following qualities would be an advantage:

- IB training

- Experience within an international school setting

- A Bachelor's Degree in German Language

- A teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / Teaching Licence)

- No more than 49 years of age in August 2024 (point of joining the school)

Swiss International School opened its doors in 2017 with an initial enrollment of 300 students from PK to grade 8. As Qatar's fastest growing school, SISQ now enrolls 800 students and offers a full IBDP program. We are slated for further growth and expect to reach an enrollment of 1,400 over the next few years.
