The store has a wide range ofbeverages that can be purchased by licensed hotels and qualifyingprivate individuals. They offer a wide range of beverages and apermit is needed to make a purchase. As a Warehouse Team Leader youwill be responsible to ensure rapid efficient and safe movement andstorage of stock according to desired temperatures so that it is inthe right place at the right time to maximize sales opportunitieswhilst maintaining highest quality of the stocks and minimizingstock shortages breakages and other materials handling costs. Youwill assist the Warehouse Officer in SOP implementation containerreceiving planning effective resources organisation whilst briefingthe team on forward plans and periodical safety briefing. You willalso be responsible for handling operations in a satellitewarehouse without supervision wheneverneeded.Ensuring proper palletlabeling and picking of stocks is in accordance with expiry datesand vintages in order to minimize stocklosses.Ensuring all stock receipts arecorrectly recorded in the GRNs to eliminate errors in inventory;expiry dates of each product are thoroughly checked and promptlyrecorded in the GRNs to prevent stock writeoff opportunities stocksare palletized safely in accordance with company guidelines;correctly labeled and bar coded; correctly stored in agreedlocations and correctly handled to minimizebreakages.Provide attention to warehouseequipment maintenance by service providers on a timely manner toensure all equipment are in good condition and causing nooperational disruptions due to lack ofmaintenance.About You:Tobe eligible for this role you must have relevant vocationaltertiary or trade qualification with a minimum of 3 years ofrelevant experience operating warehouse equipment. You must beproficient in spoken and written English with knowledge ofwarehouse procedures such as stacking storage climate controlstandards for alcohol and chilled & frozen food. Asafetyfirst attitude is essential with good experience andknowledge of warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE. Youmust also possess strong interpersonal & manmanagementskills be able to handle multitasks under pressure situation and bewellversed in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel Wordetc. Prior experience in alcohol logistics marine insurance processis an added advantage. Qatar Driving license for lightduty vehicleswill be an advantage but is not essential.Note:You will be required to attach the following:Resume /CV.This job has been sourced froman external job board.More jobs on
