JASARA PMC is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sr. Cost Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing cost estimation and analysis activities to ensure the successful completion of our projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can effectively manage complex cost control processes.Responsibilities Lead the development of comprehensive cost estimates for projects, considering various factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs Analyze project costs and variances, identifying trends and potential areas of concern Monitor project expenditures and track costs against budgetary constraints Work closely with project teams to establish and maintain effective cost control systems Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities, proposing alternative solutions to optimize project costs Prepare and present accurate cost reports to management and stakeholders Review and evaluate contractor proposals and provide recommendations on cost-related matters
