Campos EPCis currently looking for an Engineer I - entrylevel engineering role located in Anaheim, CA.Theyare responsible for working with Senior Engineers, Project Managersand project teams helping develop gas pipeline and stationengineering projects from planning and design through constructionandcloseout.Theywill assist different teams of professionals in the execution ofthis work depending on the stage of theprojects.Theywill work closely and interactively with Senior Engineers andclients.TheEngineer I is responsible for engineering and design includingrecommended design criteria, material selection and equipmentsizing in compliance with codes andstandards.ESSENTIALDUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIESTheseare functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able toperform with or without reasonableaccommodation.Performsite audits forcomplianceDevelopMAOP Verification Reports for sites and facilities throughout theUS.Developspecifications and drawings for assigned projects including designcalculations.Developproject objectives, estimates and responsibilities by reviewingclient requirements, project proposals and plans, and conferringwith the Senior Mechanical Engineer, Program Manager, ProjectManager and clientrepresentatives.Designoil and gas pipelines, pipeline metering facilities, gascompression facilities, liquid pump stations, gas processing,dehydration, heaters, filter separators, and slugcatchers.Designhydrostatic tests, pipeline replacements, stationreplacements.Designhydrostatic tests for pipeline segments that require a validstrength test to establish the maximum allowable operating pressure(MAOP) of thepipeline.Reviewhistorical documents, verify prescribed test boundaries andidentify potential hydrotestobstacles.Responsiblefor initial pipe sizing calculations, valve sizing, hydrostatictest design; hydraulic design, compressor designs, pump designs,interactions with regulatory and permitting agencies as well asother pipeline engineeringsupport.Recommendmaterials and equipment for purchase, using data sheets whenrequired. Write equipment specifications for purchase whenrequired.Reviewproject plan and schedule changes; recommend actions to ensureproject stays on-time and on-budget while meeting clientspecifications.Ensureproject compliance with appropriate government regulations, safetyrules, and company and clientpolicies.EDUCATIONand/orEXPERIENCEBachelorof Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree. Otherengineering disciplines considered i.e., Civil, Aerospace,ChemicalThisis an entry level role, recent graduatespreferred.Basicknowledge of industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSAcodes (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, 49 CFR 192 & 195)preferred but notrequired.SKILLSCandidatesand incumbents need to have the followingskills;Demonstratedability to identify problems and work creatively in a teamenvironment to resolvethem.Abilityto respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as thesituationdemands.Mustpossess excellent communication skills, both written andverbal.Excellentorganizational skills and time management skills arenecessary.Proficiencyin Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andVisio.Abilityto elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, includinginternal resources andclients.Abilityto read and interpret communication styles of team members andclients who come from both technical and non-technicaldisciplines.Campos EPC is currently looking for an Engineer I - entry levelengineering role located in Anaheim, CA. Design hydrostatic tests for pipeline segments thatrequire a valid strength test to establish the maximum allowableoperating pressure (MAOP) of the pipeline. Review historicaldocuments, verify prescribed test boundaries and identify potentialhydrotest obstacles. Responsible for initial pipe sizingcalculations, valve sizing, hydrostatic test design; hydraulicdesign, compressor designs, pump designs, interactions withregulatory and permitting agencies as well as other pipelineengineering support. Recommend materials and equipment forpurchase, using data sheets when required. Write equipmentspecifications for purchase when required. Review project plan andschedule changes; recommend actions to ensure project stays on-timeand on-budget while meeting client specifications. Ensure projectcompliance with appropriate government regulations, safety rules,and company and client policies. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree. Otherengineering disciplines considered i.e., Civil, Aerospace, ChemicalThis is an entry level role, recent graduates preferred.
