PhysicalTherapist-$2,000Sign on Bonus 1 Year FT commitmentPRN&FullTime Positions avaliable-JOBSUMMARY The PhysicalTherapist is a licensed professional who directs, supervises,evaluates and provides physical therapy services to the patients asprescribed by the attending May supervise Physical TherapistAssistants and QUALIFICATIONS Graduate from anaccredited physical therapy Preferably two years of clinicalexperience (if applicable). Capable of lifting the equivalentweight of an adult-size Licensed by the state in which the PhysicalTherapist resides or practices Physical Therapy according to statePHYSICALDEMANDS Requiresmoderately heavy physical exertion on a regular and reoccurringbasis such as extensive driving, assisting patients in transferactivities (wheelchair to bed, to tub, to commodes) and providingsubstantial support to individuals in ambulation Regularly requiredto use hands and Frequently required to stand, walk, reach withhands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or Occasionally required toOccasionally lift and/or move over 100 Specific vision abilitiesinclude close, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust WORKINGCONDITIONS General office, health care setting- exposure to infectious ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS Provides treatment as ordered by theattending Interprets, plans, establishes, and exercises propertreatment program in accordance with the physician s referral,periodically, reviewing the patient s program and response andmaking recommendations to the physician relative to the need ofcontinuing or discontinuing the physical therapy Assists thephysician in evaluating disability, injury, or disease process ofindividual patients and in evaluating the patient s level of Contacts the physician directly for patientreports and care as Observes, records, and reports to the physicianthe patient s reaction to the therapy program or any changes in thepatient s Submits to the physician and the Program Supervisorappropriate written reports to the patient s progress at thedesignated intervals using appropriate and designated Assist in determining the need of the patients an indeveloping the total plan of Instructs,teaches and supervises patients regarding physical therapyprocedures as related to the patient s therapy May supervise Physical Therapist Assistant(s) andco-sign Physical Therapists Assistant s progress Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local andcompany maintained standards of care and ethics and policiesconcerned with the practice of physical therapy and among otherthings, personnel Participates in staffdevelopment activities and in in-services education Demonstrates evidence of continuing education conductedfor in-service Meets productivity andutilization expectations as established by the Company and the Completes timely
