Formulate accounting and reportingpolicy related to F&B Operations, coordinate systems andprocedures, and prepare operating data and special reports asrequired comparing performance with operating plans andstandards.Report and interpret the results ofoperations to all levels of management and ownership (whereapplicable) to ensure timely information is provided in order tomaximize profits.Resolve problems and ensuremaintenance of the F&B accounting systems and equipment toensure smooth operations.Assist in thecompilation and preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, taxesand other financial reports to provide support thus ensuringaccurate, timely information is available for management andowners.Inform the Financial Controller and theF & B Director of any discrepancies/ variances indicated byverification procedures or otherwise and instigate the necessaryaction with Management in order to correct and ensure nore-occurrence of procedure errors.Manage theHuman Resources in the F&B Control department in order toattract, retain and motivate the employees; hire, train, develop,empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews,resolve problems and provide open communication and discipline andterminate as appropriate.Maintain all aspectsof the database and point of salesystem.Control the Food and Beverage outletsin terms of wastage, pilferage andefficiency.Maintain all paperwork andarchiving both accurately andefficiently.Maintain the security of theinformation held within the department.Respondto customer (internal & external, supplier and guest)requests, inquires and problems in a quick efficient manner tomaintain a high level of customer satisfaction and a qualityservice.Preparation and completion oftimesheets, rotas, holiday schedules, in line with business needs,as and when requiredPreparation and completionof Purchase Orders (Fourth Hospitality) as and whenrequiredUndertake and complete any specialprojects, tasks or other reasonable request by your department headand/or Hotel Management.Maintain positive andproductive working relationships with other employees anddepartmentsAbility to work independently andto partner with others to promote an environment ofteamwork
