1. Health and SafetyCompliance:Ensurecompliance with local health and safety regulations as well asinternational standards and bestpractices.Conduct regularinspections of the workplace or project site to identify potentialhazards and risks.Develop andimplement safety procedures and protocols to mitigate identifiedrisks.Provide guidance and supportto employees and management on health and safetymatters.Investigate accidentsincidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions topreventrecurrence.2.EnvironmentalCompliance:Monitorenvironmental performance and ensure compliance with relevant lawsand regulations.Develop andimplement environmental management systems to minimizeenvironmental impact.Conductenvironmental audits and assessments to identify areas forimprovement.Recommend and implementstrategies to reduce waste conserve resources and promotesustainability.3.Training andEducation:Developand deliver training programs on health safety and environmentaltopics.Ensure that all employeesreceive appropriate training on safety procedures andprotocols.Provide guidance andsupport to supervisors and managers on their role in promoting asafe and healthy workenvironment.4.RiskManagement:Identifypotential risks and hazards in the workplace and develop strategiesto mitigate them.Conduct riskassessments and develop risk mitigationplans.Monitor and evaluate theeffectiveness of risk control measures and make adjustments asnecessary.5.Documentation andReporting:Maintainaccurate records of health safety and environmental incidentsinspections and trainingactivities.Prepare reports formanagement and regulatory agencies asrequired.Analyze data to identifytrends and areas forimprovement.6.EmergencyResponse:Developand implement emergency response plans andprocedures.Conduct drills andexercises to ensure that employees are prepared to respond toemergencies.Coordinate withemergency services and other relevant stakeholders as needed duringemergencies.7.ContinuousImprovement:Stayinformed about developments in health safety and environmentalregulations and bestpractices.Continuously assess andimprove the effectiveness of health safety and environmentalmanagement systems.Activelyparticipate in safety committees and other relevantforums.RequirementsBachelorsdegree in occupational health and safety environmental science or arelated field.Professionalcertification in health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH) ispreferred.Proven experience in asimilar role preferably in the construction oil and gas ormanufacturing industries.Excellentknowledge of health safety and environmental regulations andstandards.Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.Ability towork independently and as part of ateam.Attention to detail and stronganalyticalskills.(Indian Nationality Candidates Only) Professional certification inhealth and safety (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred. Provenexperience in oil and gas industries(5 Years Mandatory) Excellentknowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations andstandards.
