RESPONSIBILITIES • Supporting theSenior Manager in establishing plans and procedures, regulationsfor safety, certifications, regulations, safety of operations, andrisk assessments • Meeting KPIs and division objectives asagreed by the Senior Manager • Liaising with consultantsand contractors on assessment issues, and interfacing with clientson both technical and contractual matters • EnsuringSafety Engineering and Safety of Operations activities areundertaken in accordance with the Common Safety Methods, YellowBook and EN 50126 • Interfacing with railway regulationexperts both within and outside the company PROFILE •Bachelor's degree qualification in Engineering, withformal or hands-on training in railway safety, quality/projectmanagement • At least 10 years' experience inrailway safety and regulations, safety approvals, and decisionmaking with particularly strong knowledge of EN 5012X •Extensive experience in the safety certification of railwayprojects and/or railway engineering, construction andmaintaining/bringing assets into use • Strongcommunication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholdersat all levels
