Job Title: Security DeviceManagementSpecialistExperienceLevel: 7YearsLocation:DohaQatarContractDuration: 1 year(extendable)Joindate: July1stMandatoryTools:SonicWall Firewall Fortinet Firewall andFortiWAFJobDescription:Weare looking for a seasoned Senior Security Device ManagementSpecialist with over 7 years of experience to oversee theoperations and maintenance of our security devices ensuring theintegrity and effectiveness of our cybersecurity infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing andmaintaining security devices such as Sonicwall Firewall FortinetFirewall and FortiWAF along with a proven track record of proactivemanagement timely updates and policyenforcement.KeyResponsibilities:OperationsManagement: Oversee the daytoday operations ofsecurity devices including SonicWall Firewall Fortinet Firewall andFortiWAF ensuring their optimal performance andreliability.ProactiveMaintenance: Conduct proactive breakfix servicesregular maintenance and timely software updates and patches toensure the security devices are operating at peak efficiency andeffectiveness.Dynamic PolicyManagement: Manage and maintain security policiesrulesets and configurations across all monitored security devicesensuring alignment with business requirements compliance mandatesand emerging threats.Policy Reviewand Update: Regularly review and update securitypolicies to align with changing business needs regulatorycompliance requirements and evolving threatlandscapes.PatchManagement: Manage and apply patches firmware updatesand security patches to security devices in a timely manner toaddress vulnerabilities and ensure the devices remain secureagainst emerging threats.Reportingand Metrics: Generate regular reports on securitydevice performance incidents alerts and operational metrics toprovide visibility into the effectiveness of security controls andsupport decisionmakingprocesses.SecurityEnhancement: Provide actionable insights andrecommendations to enhance the organizations security posture basedon analysis of security device performance incidents and emergingthreats.VendorCoordination: Coordinate with vendors for supportmaintenance and escalation of issues related to security devicesensuring timely resolution of technical issues and alignment withservice level agreements(SLAs).Qualifications:Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.7 years of experience in security devicemanagement with a focus on SonicWALL Firewall Fortinet Firewall andFortiWAF.Proficiency in managing andmaintaining security policies rulesets and configurations acrossmultiple security devices.Strong understandingof networking principles and protocols along with handsonexperience in firewall administration andconfiguration.Experience in managing patchingprocesses firmware updates and security patches for securitydevices.Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complextechnical issues related to security devicemanagement.Effective communication skills withthe ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams stakeholdersand external vendors.Relevant certificationssuch as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or vendorspecificcertifications (e.g. Sonicwall Network Security AdministratorFortinet Network Security Expert) would be aplus.networking principles,proactivemaintenance,devices,management,firewall,fortinet,analyticalskills,patch management,operations,certifications,policymanagement,security,communication skills,fortinetfirewall,sonicwall firewall,firewalladministration,sonicwall,fortiwaf,security device management,vendorcoordination,maintenance,securitydevices,reporting
