It operates through the following segments:Upstream Downstream and Corporate. The Upstream segment includescrude oil natural gas and natural gas liquids exploration fielddevelopment and production. The Downstream segment focuses onrefining logistics power generation and the marketing of crude oilpetroleum and petrochemical products and related services tointernational and domestic customers. The Corporate segment offerssupporting services including human resources finance andinformation technology. The company was founded on May 29 1933 andis headquartered in Dhahran Saudi Arabia. We arelooking for a Senior Advisor to join our Planning & PerformanceManagement team offering seasoned expertise and leadership incomplex crossfunctional challenges that are crucial to the companyssuccess. This role involves a strategic position based in DhahranSaudi Arabia where you will serve as a key player in enhancing ourrisk management practices and overall P&PMefficiency. JobSummary We are seeking a CCRPlatformer Engineer. Our client is a domestic refinery located onthe west coast of Saudi Arabia with a daily crude processingcapacity of 250000 BPD. They operate 40000BPD of NaphthaHydrotreater and CCR/Platformer Units in addition to otherconventional hydrocarbon processing units. Your primary role willbe to support in the field of Process/Chemical Engineeringassisting in the monitoring and performance improvements of theCCR/Platformer and Naphtha Hydrotreating Units maximization of theunits production while maintaining clean fuel mode of operationsupporting the contact engineers on daytoday issues processequipment design/evaluation process modeling energy optimizationand economic evaluation.Responsibilities: Provide engineering technical support toRefinery Operations. Perform unit monitoringand conduct performance evaluations. Assist introubleshooting and resolving Operationsrelatedproblems. Monitor Advanced Process Control(APC) and address constraints to maximize APCutilization. Analyze catalyst performanceestimate yields and assess the life cycle of catalysts.Lead Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies Management ofChange (MOC) processes Root Cause analysis and incidentinvestigations. Prepare annual and longrangeoperating plans and objectives. Identify unitconstraints and conduct debottleneck studies to improveefficiency. Perform engineering studies aimedat enhancing refinery gross margins. Conductenergy audits and surveys to improve refinery energy performanceand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Providedesign reviews and commissioning support for capitalprojects. Participate in the development ofprocedures and their subsequent reviews. Requirements: Hold a Bachelors degree in ChemicalEngineering from a recognized and approved program.Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience inCCR/Platforming and Naphtha Hydrotreating.Additional experience in the Crude Unit DieselHydrotreating Penex ISOM Merox Units Amine Treating and SulfurRecovery Units would be advantageous. Have acomprehensive knowledge of engineering practices internationalstandards and economic principles. CCR,Platform,Naphtha,Hydrotreating
