JobDescription:Effectively manage the MarineProcurement activities for specific categories for Nakilat and itsJVs (as applicable) including but not limited to contractsmanagement and administration sourcing strategy performancemonitoring and tracking vendors management etc. aiming atmaximizing cost effectiveness and optimizevalue.Manage the endtoend contractingactivities in an effective and efficient way enabling Nakilat toenhance returns from spend for goods and services and improve theperformance in terms of cost quality and overall value on its panelof categories.Plan develop and implement theentire range of the procurement strategies in alignment with thebusiness objectives.Manage the challengesassociated with conflicting priorities and change in demand due torapid business growth.Optimize existingcontracts in terms of efficiency cost and value which shalldirectly have an impact on Marine spend in coordination withNakilat and the Joint Venturecompanies.Identify opportunities for synergiesconsolidation and standardization engaging JVs and leverage sizeand scale and execute accordingly to realize value throughstrategic contract and cost management solutions for the respectivepanel of categories.Obtain End User buyin atall stages of the contracts management to ensure the smoothimplementation of contracts.Establish regularKPIs and suppliers scorecards for respective categories consideringprevious experience lesson learned with focus on continuousimprovement.Optimize categories suppliersdatabase based on research conducted internal/externalsourcing.Implement and develop an effectivesupplier relationship approach with vendors covering performancefollow up Supplier risk management Supplier improvement plansetc.Record follow up and provide answer to thefailure of contracted suppliers monitor incidents (i.e.goods/services not meeting the standard or incorrect goods/servicessupplied by the vendor) and take requiredactions.This job hasbeen sourced from an external job board.More jobson
