Implement Procurement policies,systems and procedures in accordance with Accor Internationalstandards.Research and develop new productsand services for the hotel.Call for quotationsand inquire into prices from various suppliers. Ensure that minimumof three genuine quotations areobtained.Manage Supplier and VendorRelations.Follow-up and ensure that goods aredelivered in accordance with the purchase order and without anydelay.Keep back-up plan in case items cannotbe delivered on a timely basis.Establishcontracts to ensure reduced pricing for all operating areas ofhotel.Monitor vendors for quality, service andprice through standard purchasingsatisfaction.Receive proper purchaserequisition from Head ofDepartments.
