Job Role:• Responsible forsafe-guarding company assets, providing decision support tobusiness management, ensuring the delivery of profits andoptimizing costs.• To plan, develop and control allfinancial aspects related to the Division for medium to long term.Ensures compliance with all internal policies and process and allregulatory requirements.• Our client is a leader in Retailindustry Job Responsibilities:• Managing the accountingand monitoring systems for the division• Responsible fortimely preparation and submission of financial plans, budgets andforecasts. Actively participates in the complete budgetprocess.• Responsible for timely preparation andsubmission of monthly, quarterly, yearly Management Reports andFinancial Statements• Manages short and long termcash-flow position of the division• Implement industryspecific KPIs to monitor business performance.• Reviewsand validates all agreements concerning financial obligations andother actions requiring a commitment of financialresources.• Ensures insurance coverage asrequired• Safeguarding of all the Fixed and Current Assetsof the division. Also ensuring qualitative reporting of balancesheet components.• Develop and ensure proper internalcontrol• Implement accounting system which ensures smoothpreparation of monthly accounts.• Ensure compliance withGroup policies and IFRS requirements.• Raise awarenessalong with the Group Finance resources in terms of managing theBusiness Risks.• Actively participate in the developmentof business strategy in line with the Group's vision,mission and business objectives.• Formulating strategiesto be used in the longterm financial plans for a businessunit• Prepare and report Project profitability for allexisting and new projects.• Financial feasibility foracquisitions and/or working in a large projects managed by a numberof companies • Provides advice on all matters to theDivision Head in the formulation of and achievement of overalldivision and group objectives• Identify along with theDivision Head all risks and opportunities to business performanceand report on KPI sJob Requirements:• A full professionalqualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACPA and CA • Degreefrom an accredited university with a major in business andaccounting, MBA / Master in commerce is an addedadvantage.• 8 10 Years experience in similar Industry withat least 3-4 years of experience in managerial position •Excellent knowledge of MS Office and in particular EXCELskills
