Meeting with patients, takingtheir histories, and examining their files in order to provide themwith the best surgical options.Outlining allthe risks and benefits associated with the surgery prior to theprocedure.Performing consultations withpatients who suffer from birth defects, injuries, burn wounds, orthose who want to enhance their physicalappearance.Preparing patients for surgical andnon-surgical procedures.Prescribing medicationlike painkillers, antibiotics, and providing aftercare advice topatients.Scheduling follow-ups to removestitches, inspect incisions, and monitor the patients'healing.Handling various administrative dutieslike updating patient records and clinicpolicies.
