Our client is an Oil and Gas company with operations across Kuwait. They currently have a requirement for 2 Senior Planning Engineers to be based in their main headquarters. Salary & Benefits: - Tax-Free salary offered - Benefits package available

The Role:

1. Continual review and development of procedures and common support processes resulting in improved business effectiveness.
2. Ensure the requisite quality of data is maintained.
3. Develop and ensure compliance with the work breakdown structure and coding.
4. Oversee the planning element of the change control procedure.
5. Production of ‘what if’ scenarios and plans to suit both client and contractor requirements.
6. Production of risk analysis data if required by the project.
7. Mentoring and development of planning personnel, to raise their competence, awareness, knowledge and techniques required in the execution of planning functions.
8. To read, understand and implement the Company Safety Policy and the arrangements described in the Company and area Safety – Management System documents in relation to the Planning function.
9. To promote HS&E responsibility within the team.

Requirements:

1. Experience in the oil and gas Industry.
2. Experience in strategic planning and the supervision of personnel.
3. Experience working as a Planning Engineer.
4. Experience in the planning of all aspects of petrochemical or offshore projects.
5. Must have a sensible, logical approach to Planning needs and be able, at all times, to keep the basic objectives in sight.
6. Must have a pleasing personality, smart appearance and be able to communicate with all levels up to top management.
7. Good presentation skills.
