The position is responsible for thepreparation of food, by strictly following standards as set by thehotel and regulated by local authorities. Ensuring all hygiene& cost control systems arefollowed.PrimaryResponsibilitiesPreparation of food, cooking, qualitycontrol, cutting & HACCPMaintain dailymis-en-place (MEP) and prepareingredientsInspect & clean foodpreparation areas, ensure safe personal hygiene & sanitaryfood-handling practices, HACCP, labeling & FIFO/FEFOpractices, hygienic handling & storage of equipment& utensilsEnsure the highest standardsand consistent quality in the dailypreparationBe familiar with new products,recipes & preparation techniquesHavefull knowledge of all menu items, daily highlights, andpromotionsBe familiar with the use of allelectrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observesafety precautions when handling themPromptlyreport any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment whichrequires repair or maintenance to the immediatesupervisor
