Job Description For Director of HumanResources - Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Beach(HOZ87821) in West BayDoha,Qatar. Wyndham Grand Doha West Beach Beachis now seekingaDirector of Human Resources to join our teaminDoha, Qatar. JobSummaryThe Director of Human Resources (in conjunction with the HRTeam) will lead the day to day HR Operations.This will include allaspects of Human Resources from employee relations, compensationand benefits, performance management, training, recruitment,housing, wellness as well as the management of the HR Team,partnering HODs, Exec Com as well as driving the hotels KPIs ofGOP, LTO, AES etc. Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations Ensurethat the agreed upon disciplinary process is maintained at alltimes and fair disciplinary processes are followed by all HODs.Maintain and enhance the open door policy to all associatesproviding advice and guidance when needed in regards to theirissues or concerns and/or grievances. To provide a source ofinformation to HODs regarding disciplinary, grievance and staffcounselling issues. Ensure that all disciplinary procedures arecarried out, taking role of implementing them by ensuringconsistency in the policys implementation. Take an active role asan arbitrator, note taker or advisor where appropriate. Train theAHRM/HR Executive/HR Coordinator etc. in the above process Log allthe incidents in HRIS and file the original copies in the employeefiles On a monthly basis summarise all the incidents with regardsdisciplinary action and present to GM/RHRM with recommendations HRAdministration Ensure the smooth workflow of the various HRfunctionalities as to maintaining and providing the needed supportto associates and Supervisors/ HODs at all times. This includes,but is not limited to filing, administration of starters andleavers and payroll. To provide an advice service to associates andSupervisors/ HODs on HR SOPs, Wyndham and local people policies,legal requirements, staffing issues, and act as an arbitrator wherenecessary. Ensure that the hotels are fully compliant with Wyndhampeople processes and deadlines that govern all Wyndham properties.i.e. AES, Success Matters etc. Ensure that sporadic associate filesaudits are carried out on a monthly basis. Payroll to be reviewedand checked prior to the GM/Director of Finance signing On boardingprocess to be seamless To ensure that all leavers are processed ina timely manner and their leaving process is as good as theirjoining one Manage the PRO and visa process to ensure that allassociates have valid visas and that they are tracked appropriatelyRecruitment Conduct interviews for all Supervisory and HODpositions Work in conjunction with the HRBPfor recruitment ofGMs/HMs/Director of Operations/Exec Com/HR Team Supervise HR teamwith regards to line level recruitment Participate in annual salaryand benefit surveys Ensure that the employment contracts templatesare pre-approved by RHRBPprior to use and not edited Review manningand re-recruitment of all positions Ensure that the arrivalexperience is as good as the guests Ensures that all open jobs areposted via Success Mattersand the SOPs and Wyndham standards arefollowed in using the system Performance Management Ensure that alldeparting team members/staff members have the opportunity to havean online exit interview On a monthly basis ensure that a summaryof exit interviews is sent to the GM as well as the HODs Ensurethat the administration of the 3-month/5 month review (whereapplicable) process in the property and ensure that follow-up forall issues is done in timely manner and results of both follow-upand the initial reviews are communicated to all relevant partiesAnalyse the reviews to see if there are trends in the reviews; thisis to be shared on a monthly basis with the GM Payroll Ensure thatthe payroll is submitted to Finance on the agreed date PH and Lieuday tracking is accurate and up to date Overtime tracking is donein a timely manner - analyse to see if we need any morestaff/associates in any of the departments due to consistentovertime Analysis of the above to see if the hotel need to changethe way that we use casuals etc. - make a business case with theHOD for any changes Review with the Dof/GM the payroll figures andchallenge the HODs with regards to over spending and casual usageThird party contractsManage the following contracts: TransportationTeam Member/Staff dining Accommodation Pest Control MedicalInsurance Management Supervise the HR team and office on dailybasis Schedule HR shift patterns and office opening times to ensurethat HR are delivering what the associates need Train and developthe team and provide support when required Ensure all directreports have an PDP to achieve their goals Ensure that effectivecommunication flow is maintained at all times Actively participatein the community involvement projects and initiatives together withthe hotels management team Conduct monthly inspections at the staffaccommodations with the Housing team and report the results AttendDepartmental Meetings to address any issues or concerns for staffeach department on a quarterly basis Training Ensure that theTraining Manager/responsible person conducts the relevant trainingsto the business needs Attend where possible the monthlydepartmental trainer meetings with the Training Manager/responsibleperson Ensure 100% Training Manager/responsible person compliantwith all mandatory training requirements Review the monthlytraining calendar with the Training Manager/responsible personEducation & Experience At least 4+ years as a Director ofHuman Resources in a brandedhotel Able to lead and manage a largeteam Knowledgeable with all aspects of the HR function Able to workwith little guidance as it is a stand alone role Familiarity withand knowledge of Qatar employment laws ideally COMPANYOVERVIEW:Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the worlds largesthotel franchising company by the number of properties withapproximately 9,200 hotels across over 95 countries on sixcontinents.
