AlBorg Diagnostics, a leading provider of diagnostic health services, is seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our finance team in Jeddah. As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist in preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support decision-making.   • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data.
  • Record invoices in a timely manner in the system on a daily basis.
  • Maintains the Petty Cash float and prepares Reimbursement Claims on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Compute, classify and summarize petty cash expenses, reimbursements, claims, disbursement etc. for all branches and head office to make sure payment amounts, records and supporting documents are correct accounts.
  • Ensure and perform clearance to HR for exiting employees on account of petty cash and advances to employees.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial expenses reports and statements for the management.
  • Prepare correct and timely preparation of budget reports and petty cash journals.
  • Ensure all required information is properly provided when required.
  • Handle queries related to petty cash in coordination with the GL Accounting Manager.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to Management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Assist with audits and other compliance-related activities, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in a timely and efficient manner, leveraging relevant accounting software and systems.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all tax filings and other statutory requirements.
  • Perform other related tasks as required
