- Assist the Head in developing a compliance program aimed at reducing risk for the hospital.
- Monitor the regulatory compliance for all nursing floors and ancillary departments.
- Coordinate the implementation, monitoring and enforcement of compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution.
- Monitor and ensure that key quality activities are completed on time and accurately in order to present results to key departmental management and meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop reports to interpret regulatory specifications, explain programs and results of programs, and document findings and limitations of department interventions.
- Highlight any gaps in processes that may require remediation.
- Identify potential sources of loss and solution to solve problems.
- Handle all Physicians credentialing.
- Respond to all compliance inquiries that may arise.
- Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.
Requirements
Education- University Degree from a recognized university, preferably a Science Degree in Nursing or other healthcare discipline.
- Formal training or certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Healthcare Compliance preferred.
- Knowledge in clinical decision-making and case management review and evaluation.
- Knowledge of preventive health, health management and disease management auditing skills and standards.
- Acute knowledge of typical acute care hospital practices and routines.
- Current understanding of Joint Commission regulations.
- Proficient in Arabic and English (speaking and writing).
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a quality compliance function in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device related industry.
- Experience with drafting policies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
