Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing will be responsible for leading and supervising the nursing department. The job requires a candidate with significant experience in critical care and operations management, a strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care and federal and state regulations. The duties include Staff management, education, development and training. Developing departmental schedules and workflows to meet patient needs and ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet departmental needs. Ensure compliance with established guidelines, policies and procedures, international standards and protocols. Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed. A high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills and compassionate leadership qualities are a must have.
