What you will be doing Increase UHC’s presence and engage NGO’s, charities and not for profit organisations The Personal Assistant and Outreach Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the United Humanitarian Coalition's mission to provide humanitarian aid and assistance to diverse groups facing urgent needs. This role encompasses program management, outreach, and donor engagement, ensuring the organisation's efforts have a substantial impact. Responsibilities: 1. Program Support:
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring humanitarian programs and projects.
- Collaborate with member charities and partners to ensure efficient program implementation.
- Maintain program records, budgets, and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and proposals.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to raise awareness of our mission.
- Engage with charities, businesses, media outlets, and individuals to mobilise support.
- Foster relationships with existing donors and explore opportunities for new partnerships.
- Represent the organisation at events, meetings, and conferences.
- Create and distribute compelling content through various channels (social media, newsletters, etc.).
- Advocate for humanitarian causes and promote the work of the United Humanitarian Coalition.
- Respond to inquiries and engage with the public to raise awareness.
- Stay informed about global humanitarian crises and emerging needs.
- Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and opportunities.
- Analyse program data and feedback to improve effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (International Relations, Social Sciences, etc.).
- Previous experience in program management, outreach, or related roles preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Knowledge of humanitarian issues and global crises.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and social media platforms.
