The Steel Engineering Development Company (SED) is a limited liability company solely owned by M/S Khalifa Juma Al Nabooda and Abdulrahman Saif Al Ghurair and was established in 1981 to develop and provide custom manufactured lift and escalator finishes.

SED is widely recognised as the leading 3D drawing, rendering and custom steel manufacturer throughout the GCC. We are an approved vendor to many of the world's largest manufacturers.

Since 1981, we have substantially added to our list of services and now offer 3D design, 3D drawing and rendering.

We take an idea and convert a rough sketch into a photorealistic render. We have the capability to manufacture the product as a full turn-key solution using our modern and state of the art special CNC machines. Our extensive knowledge of the lift industry and interior finishes together with our 3D drawing, design and rendering has offered us the opportunity to work on iconic projects such as the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, The Grand Mosque and Aqua Theatre at Al Habtoor.
