Data Network Senior Supervisor

**Description**:- To plan and maintain a reliable and highly available IT Data network infrastructure for all IT services across Vodafone Data Centres, VF Public Cloud, Call Centres, MTX sites, Retail stores & office buildings.**Job Responsibility**:**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:People Management:- Recruit, manage, motivate, and develop a team of skilled Data networks engineers- Define clear responsibilities and performance objectivesPlanning:- Prepare and track the team's budget (CAPEX & OPEX) based on the department's strategy and objectives- Assess new technologies & industry trends- Design & implement new initiatives & projects that serve the business needsOperations management:- Maintain & Support the IT Data network infrastructure to meet agreed upon SLAs- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by team members- Communicate effectively with other teams and with internal customers (Retail, Enterprise etc.. )- Ensure CSB controls are in place for the IT data networkVendor Management- Maintain a good relationship with Technology suppliers & partners- Ensure the vendors' compliance with contractual agreements & VF policies**Key performance indicators**:- Maintain network Availability above 99.95%- Meet agreed operational SLAs (MTTR, etc..)- Deliver projects on time & within budget**Role Requirements**:**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Very good analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity- High passion for customers- Proven experience in the project management of complex projects.**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:- Must be Proficient in English- BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer science- More than 8 years of experience in IT or Telecom industry- Solid Knowledge of IP networking (LAN/WAN), Data Centres architecture, Applications load balancing, Software Defined networking- Professional certifications in IP networking & service management is a plus (CCIE, ITIL, etc.)**Direct reports**:9 Data network Engineers, 3 Technicians
