Outline of the job**Responsibilities**:- Installation and Configuration:Supervise and Inspect works of the Contractor for communication systems, including CCTV cameras, Master Clock, Public Information Display, public address (PA) speakers, control panels, and related hardware, in a transportation project.Ensure proper integration, alignment, and calibration of CCTV, Master Clock, Public Information Display and PA systems with other site infrastructure and equipment.Collaborate with project teams to determine system specifications, configurations, and installation requirements.- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of system installations, configurations, repairs, and upgrades for future reference and auditing purposes.Prepare reports documenting system performance, issues, and solutions, and provide timely updates to project managers and stakeholders.- Compliance and Safety:Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during system installations and maintenance activities.Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in collaboration with other on-site teams.- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (preferred).- 10 - 16 years overall professional experience with proven Railway experience (5-10 years) as a Site-Based Engineer working specifically with low voltage communication systems, including CCTV, public address, Master Clock, Public Information Display- Solid knowledge of CCTV camera types, network video recorders (NVR), PA speakers, control panels, and related hardware.- Familiarity with relevant software and platforms for system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.- Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for low voltage systems.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, clients, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources.- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a construction or site-based environment.
