**Role Purpose**:Develop the core networks voice Design to guarantee Network Redundancy, Reliability, and simplicity.**Job Responsibility**:**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**1. **Voice Core Design**:- Ensure an efficient and future proof voice Core Network design and optimization.- Align with Technology Functions to ensure VF-EG leadership in voice service.- Maintains close alignment with Service Management teams during projects implementation facilitating proper and quality hand-over.- Align with Commercial Department to support them with new technology capabilities to achieve marketing products and services calendar and improve customer experience.- Drive readiness of New voice Technologies.- Manages the voice core nodes roadmap.- Liaises with Vodafone Group and suppliers to drive new technology solutions and innovations to improve customer experience and ensure technology leadership.- Identify relevant network topology that best utilizes the resources of the network and minimizes the CAPEX and/or OPEX spending.2. **Network Design & Optimization**:- Ensures Vodafone market leadership in voice through providing the best CSSR, CDR, quality and call setup- Manage the voice core nodes design and optimization.- Design owner for CS/IMS and IPSTP/DSC- Considers feedback from Service Management teams for re-occurring problems, input for re-design while acting as third line of support.3. **Customer Experience Assurance**:- Coordinate with CE team to follow up and resolve any network malfunctions.- Ensure all Customers committed KPIs are met.**Role Requirements**:**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:- Be able to work with global technology.- Very Good knowledge of CS/IMS- Strong analytical skills.- Innovative and fast learner.- Advanced level of Engineering / Technology knowledge with a broad knowledge of other areas of the business.**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:- B.Sc or M.Sc Degree in communication / electronics engineering.- Minimum of 8 years' experience in the mobile voice domain; preferably in Network design /operations.
